Thanks to Agile Wroclaw Group, I attended a practical workshop on status behaviours conducted by Rafał Cupiał who is a researcher and trainer in social neuroscience in business. The workshop focused on communication and our behaviours connected with conscious and unconscious rivalry for social status. Thanks to the online meetup formula, attendees have opportunity to practise such status games in small groups, which was very helpful. Rafał Cupiał is a great speaker, so I feel I learnt a lot in a very satisfying way.
I plan to use the skills both in job interviews and in my future work. I think such workshop can really improve group work by creating conscious and respectful atmosphere which endorses team creativity.
